Technique recap

After stuffing a shot, the fastest way to stay safe is to get back to your fighting stance instead of lingering on top. This drill builds the sprawl-and-reset habit.

3 key details

  • Sprawl hard with hips heavy on their shoulders.
  • Push the head down and away to create space.
  • Step back into stance with hands up before re-engaging.
