Video: Triangle Solo Drill for BJJ - Improve your triangle Chokes Immediately on your own! by Utopia Martial Arts. Not affiliated with MatRecap; their version may differ from this drill.
Technique recap
The triangle choke traps the head and one arm inside your legs, using the opponent's own shoulder to close off the neck. Solo reps on a dummy build the angle and the leg lock.
3 key details
- Kick one arm out and pull the head down before locking.
- Cut an angle so your thigh crosses the side of the neck.
- Pull the head and squeeze the knees, never yank the neck.
